Volunteers are absolutely critical to the successful organization and smooth operation of the Circle C Creatives art show held at the Circle C Community Center during Big Medium’s Austin Studio Tour in November each year.

We welcome people of all ages, personal and professional experiences, and interests from the greater Austin community who want to:

  • Be on the front lines of the Circle C Creatives art show and help our small group of dedicated artists succeed.

  • Spend time getting to know the local SW Austin arts community - artists and arts-loving individuals.



Assist the organizing team with all things necessary to create a successful event at our Austin Studio Tour stop. Time commitment and duties vary and may include:

  • Event volunteering (shift work during the two November weekends of the art show)

    • Welcome desk - help attendees sign up for our raffle, hand out maps, and answer general questions

    • Setup and breakdown

    • Artist check-in - help artists find their location, tables/chairs, name tag, etc.

    • Sponsored products pickup and drop-off

    • Bartending (must be TABC certified)

  • Pre-event organizing (June through October):

    • Gallery and event space planning

    • Mailings and advertising 

    • Community and business sponsorship liaison 

    • Graphics and illustration

    • PR and publicity liaison
